Sara Whiteley (Sheffield): "Cognitive Poetics, Stylistics, and Text-World Theory"

ART CogLit and English and American Studies, RWTH Aachen University are very happy to announce that Dr. Sara Whiteley from the University of Sheffield will be here in Aachen on Monday, November 20, 2017 to talk about

"Cognitive Poetics, Stylistics, and Text-World Theory"

The talk will take place between 6:15 and 7:45 p.m. in 1010 /213 (i.e., in lecture hall V in the main building on the second floor) in the context of Jan Alber's lecture on cognitive studies.

Sara works in the areas of discourse analysis and stylistics, cognitive poetics, emotion in discourse processing, and reader/audience reception. She is the author of The Cambridge Handbook of Stylistics, Cambridge University Press, 2014 (together with Peter Stockwell).
