Student representatives promote the interests of students in a wide variety of committees at RWTH and are important contacts next to student advisors and lecturers.
For students of English and American Studies, the following student representatives are particularly relevant:
- The Fachschaft 7.1 "Philosophie" (Humanities and Social Sciences) and 7.2 "Lehramt" (teacher trainees) are student representatives at the faculty level.
- For more specific, course- and subject-related questions, there are also the Seniorate, which are also divided according to the courses of study: the Seniorat Anglistik (Lehramt) (teacher trainees) and the Seniorat Philosophie, Literatur- und Sprachwissenschaft (Philosophy, Literature and Linguistics). Both can be contacted via their social media pages and by e-mail.
